Description
This is a rare MONO pressing of the excellent STRAIGHT AHEAD LP by OLIVER NELSON WITH ERIC DOLPHY on Prestige Records (NJ 8255) from 1961. A fantastic jazz record from these two legendary artists. The vinyl is in G+/VG- condition with lots of light surface marks and wear and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but a perfectly enjoyable copy without skips or other anomalies. The cover is in G+ condition with some scuffs and dings, a three-inch seam split at the center of the top edge, a seam split spanning two-thirds of the bottom edge, and the previous owner's name written in felt pen near the top edge of the back side, as pictured. Don't pass this one up!
