OLIVER SAIN Main Man LP ABET SOUL JAZZ FUNK BREAKS Hear
     

Here's a real rare soul jazz album from St Louis by the one and only Oliver Sain! A lot of people are still after this album but copies have dried up and the only ones I have seen on ebay in the past 2 years have been beat up copies. It's a solid funky soul-jazz album from start to finish. The most recognizable tune for breaks diggers is "On The Hill" which was sampled by DITC as well as Pete Rock. There's also the tune "St Louis Breakdown" which has been spun by countless fun DJs. Lots of great tunes on this rare find. Doubt you are gonna see another copy this clean in a long time... I've kept it in my collection for 5 years and sadly need to part with it.
