OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN - CRYSTAL LADY - 1976 JAPANESE PRESSING

From my own personal collection, up for sale is this 'Crystal Lady' double-LP compilation album by Olivia Newton John. A Japanese issue, it was released in 1976 on the EMI Records label with catalogue number EMS 65001-2. The album contains a very generous 32 tracks, including some real classics - my favourites include 'If Not For You', 'Banks Of The Ohio', 'Take Me Home Country Roads', and 'Let Me Be There'.

This really is a beautiful item: Its gold-coloured gatefold cover makes it stand out, and it also has a wonderful, textured feel to it. It features a soft-focus photo on the front, and the words 'Golden Double 32' artistically embossed on the back. The whole of the inside of the cover is taken up with an amazingly natural photo of Olivia looking nothing short of stunning. There are two inner sleeves with lyrics and more pictures. Also included is a booklet with lyrics and credits in Japanese. I am also impressed with the quality of the vinyl; the sound clarity is superb - see below for more details.

ALBUM CONDITION:

Vinyl: Mint-: Labels clean, vinyl pristine and glossy. Sound clarity is great and surface noise level is very low.

Cover and Inserts: Mint-: Just a couple of very faint creases to one inner sleeve.

Unless otherwise stated above, all records I am currently selling are from my own personal collection. They have been looked after over the years, stored vertically and not tightly packed.

GRADING INFORMATION:

All albums are graded visually and audibly unless stated. I try to be as accurate as possible here, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase I do offer a full refund so please contact me before leaving feedback in this instance.

Records are graded according to UK Record Collector Magazine:

Plus (+) or minus (-) afterwards indicates slightly above or below the above grades.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
