Near Mint- (NM) Very few, if any Imperfections Excellent - very light marks and sound good Very Good + (VG+) record in this grade will have a very few light scratches ,minimal surface noise Very Good (VG) records in this grade were well loved and well played but not abused. Will have more obvious marks, scratches. possibly light surface noise when played. Good (G/G+, G-) these records will definitely show wear and tear. They will most likely have background noise. Background noise will be evident. At times we will grade these as G, G+ or G- (Good is not "Good" in this situation) Most serious collectors will avoid this grade unless it is super rare.
SLEEVE GRADE:
Near Mint (NM): The sleeve has very little surface wear on front, back or edges. The sleeve may still have the original cellophane wrapper.
Very Good (VG): The sleeve shows some signs of wear on the face, obverse and or edges, may have a cut out, or other small imperfections.
Good (G): The sleeve has moderate deterioration and shelf wear.
Fair (F): The sleeve has considerable shelf wear or may have a split seam at top or bottom. The sleeve may have been repaired with tape.
Poor (P): The sleeve has multiple issues including one or more split seams, may have large tears in the sleeve, or may be missing portions of the sleeve.
