Description

Hi there Thinning out my collection. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark The Best Of OMD Lp from 1988. Canadian issue with the inner and gold embossed rear.
Can’t find one of these that has ever come up for sale. Apparently they were given away at a party held by the band for the release of the Lp, as per discogs, where none have ever come up for sale. These copies were pressed up with gold leaf on the rear saying, I HAD THE BEST OF TIMES WITH OMD FEBRUARY 29TH 1988. The gold leaf is not just stamped onto the rear, the sleeve has been pressed up with it incorporated into the sleeve, basically made especially for a one-off occasion. I’m sure a true fan will appreciate the scarcity of this fantastic item as it was only meant for friends, family and industry big wigs no doubt, like I said, I can’t find one that has ever come up for sale anywhere.
The vinyl is great, excellent I would say, light marks, shadowing, does have a light warp that keeps it off flat by a few millimetres. The sleeve is great, excellent I would say, light wear. The inner is nice, very good plus I would say, light wear, minor creases.
With everything going on in the world, please be patient as some places are taking a long time for delivery, even the U.K. still.
The Royal Mail have hiked their prices and it’s now £26.40 to ship to many countries with signed for, mainly the states, Canada and other places outside Europe. Europe is £13.50 with signed for. Please wait for the invoice.
Postage in the uk is £4.85 and that will include Royal Mail signed for. I will ship abroad but definitely not without signed for or tracking. I will combine shipping.
I WILL NOT SHIP WITHOUT TRACKING SO PLEASE DON’T ASK ME TO.
