Description
Available here is UK 12" vinyl record, which is only identifiable from hand-written and printed markings on one side of the record. It is a test pressing, sampler, or factory sample, for an album by the Hungarian progressive rock band Omega - The Hall of Floaters In The Sky (please see the central label image).
Something of a rarity, the official UK Decca release of this album was in 1975. The album contained six songs but this factory sample has only three tracks on the playable side. The second side is effectively blank, although it does have a groove which emits a continuous single note or tone throughout. This item would have appeared in-house as part of the production process and shortly before the official release. It has the matrix/catalogue numberXZAL-14133-P-2W stamped on the inner ring of the playable side.
The record features the three tracks below. They’re not actually named anywhere but I was able to identify them from Discogs/You Tube.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is extremely bright and clean and probably little played - barely a mark and no worrying scratches. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking, with one or two light clicks heard. Background crackle/noise is virtually non-existent and very low level if heard.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Excellent - There was probably no official cover or sleeve for this item. The record is housed in a white, die-cut, card cover.

If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
