CONDITION OF COVER ........ VG-     Oneness of JuJu LP Self-Titled (Space Jungle Luv) (Black Fire Records BF 19754)     Original release from 1976. Oneness of Juju hailed from Richmond VA & Washington DC. Fronted by esteemed saxophonist Plunky Nkabinde, who has also released many records as simply "Plunky." Well-conceived 70s-jazzy arrangements give plenty of momentum & stretching out. Guitarist Melvin Glover went on to form AAE (Awareness Art Ensemble), a lovely reggae band playing out of Richmond. Eka-Eta provides much of the the singing here. Arresting cover painting with beautiful rich shades of aqua by band member Muzi Nkabinde. Produced by Plunky Nkabinde & Jimmy Gray. Engineered by  Robt. Dawson & Jim Watkins.   DISC - VG+
  Cleaned & Play Graded. We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No warping, skips, streaking or residue on playing surface or dead wax. A few light scuffs that I wouldn't call scratches. 5-inch inaudible hairline fleck on side two. Surface sheen still looks pretty good. Even with the minor background noise apparently from needle wear, I believe the listener will find this within the level of enjoyment.  (Matrix #: "K7766   GOL")
 

 COVER - VG-: 

    Front cover shows a narrow band of water damage directly along the bottom edge (away from the cover painting). A small bit of that has worn thru to the cardboard. One-inch beginnings of a seam split on top.  Average corner banging. Hardly any ring wear & rubbing. Spine looks really good & fully readable. Orange Black Fire label is almost blemish-free: no writing, stickers, fading or cuts. Sharp print, rich color. A few tiny faint marks. Really sharp cut hole with faint quarter-inch paper crinkle off that.
