Description

This is apparently the only existant copy of this LP.  A unique item, "dubbed from customer's material," this is an LP evidently created from an audio tape recorded during May Sarton's poetry reading at Scripps College Library on March 13, 1957.
The tape of the reading would have been brought to a recording studio in Pasadena CA (Ted's Recording Studio) which offered a service that dubbed an audiotape onto a one-off vinyl pressing.
My memory of my one hearing of this is that it's a somewhat low-fidelity but clear rendition of a reading that, since we cannot hear it any other way, is offered as a unique artifact. 
It will benefit from a cleaning, preferably in a machine that will protect the label from moisture. Just visually I'm grading it at VG+, which since it has smudges and minor abrasions, is maybe an aspirational grading.
And May Sarton, herself, was a precious artifact as well, as you probably know if you're reading this.
