 ONIX  : a kaleidoscope of colours   .      side 2  ANGELS : turning round             45 rpm EP

original UK ACETATE ! EMIDISC . Carlin Music 17 Saville row. mid sixties

a rare item here . i've got this from a retired music  executive . as you know Onix were a band from Cornwall that issued some rare pop psych singles in the sixties . " a kaleidoscope of colour " recorded as a demo was never released until the recent CD compilation of the same name . side 2 is credited to " Angels " . the song " turning round "is  written by Guy Fletcher and Doug Fleet ,who wrote a large part of the Onyx material . could be the Onyx under another name . unfortunately i can't provide samples . it is anyway a good pop psych offering with very strong vocal harmonies .

VINYL  side 1 ( Onix ) is only in G conditions .VG + visually .is recorded at very low volume and the sound is very thin . and has a lot of loud crackling with sound quality noticeably deteriorated  .but then acetate were meant to be played only a few times with sound deteriorating every play . so it should be aquired only for the object not to enjoy the music within  . better side 2 VG+ . solid and loud cut , still with crackilng though .
