Description
TEST PRESSING AUCTIONS: These test pressings come from my personal collection as a long time employee of Lookout Records and are guaranteed to be authentic. If ever, they have been played only once and all information is disclosed here.
This is a Lookout Records test pressing from a re-press of the Operation Ivy "Hectic" single. Because the plates at the pressing plant get word out don't after a certain number of pressings, we'd have to make plates again and create additional test pressings to confirm that there are no errors in the pressing and the sound quality is good. I can tell you with certainty this is NOT a test from the original EP's release in 1988. I can guess it might have been from the later 90s, early 2000s. Only a handful of tests were run from each time to be played and checked by the production team at the label. Runout inscription including Lookout matrix info same as commercial release.
Vinyl is in Mint condition.
