Brilliant album in tip-top condition. Old eBay prices: $200 + $195 + $184 + $184 again. Superclean original first US pressing from 1989. First pressing means the back of the picture cover shows NO BARCODE and there is the original LAYTONVILLE address printed on it. Here’s an opportunity to own a historic document because these guys were the first band who mixed Hardcore Punk with Ska….and they did a superb job. The only album release by OPERATION IVY was issued on the great ‘Lookout’ label. Complete with lyric sheet. The band includes Tim Armstong and Matt Freeman who formed RANCID. This record is entitled ENERGY and you can listen to fantastic tracks like ‘The Crowd’ / ‘Bombshell’ / ‘Bankshot’ / ‘One Of These Days’ / ‘Freeze Up’ / ‘Bad Town’ / ‘Caution’ and ‘Unity’. 19 tracks, 19 winners!!
