Description
Orchestre Rail-Band de Bamako LP, original German pressing on Barenreiter -Musicaphon (BM 30 L 2606). Increasingly difficult to find and almost never seen in such beautiful condition, this is NOT the Mississippi pressing. Cover is a very strong VG+, one very minor ding at the sleeve opening and some light wear at seams. Vinyl is VG+, some light paper scuffs, full luster and sheen otherwise. Most would grade this record EX or better, especially sellers of international and African records. A very beautiful copy regardless, and one I'm sure you will be more than happy adding to your collection. Be sure to check my other auctions this week for some incredible and rarely seen records.
Shipping varies on some items to certain locations, so contact me if you have any questions. I use the canadapost.ca website to determine rates. Be aware that a gatefold LP, or two LPs shipped together, nearly doubles the shipping cost on overseas orders. I will only send Small Packet Air or better, as I find Surface mail unreliable. U.S. buyers, please note that sending a parcel from Canada to the United States is not the same as standard international rates, and the cost will be slightly less in most cases. All buyers, wait for an invoice before paying. I use NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G and P for grading purposes. If a record is sealed I will describe it as accurately as possible, but I do not open sealed records. I grade conservatively, and am happy to answer any questions you may have about the condition of a record at auction. I do not end auctions early.
