 ORDELLS SIPPIN' A Cup of Coffee DIONN REC. ADVANCE DEMO 7" 45 Philly Soul rarity


we don't get to say this very often: an Incredible rarity.

 1967 Pittsburgh/Philly Soul demo 45 recently unearthed at a Chicago Swap meet

this may be the first and only time this early version has come up for sale online... as regular white label promos of this legendary record were made later, it makes this pre-promo version that much rarer in #. It's easy to imagine this particular copy was used for the first of many broadcasts on Pennsylvania radio 

the b side on this advance copy is unlabeled but is in fact the same instrumental, "Big Dom" on the flip of the official release of The  Ordells - Sippin' a Cup Of Coffee Dionn 505 ,

and playing the A-side, this version of "Sippin.." certainly seems like the same version/mix as released and it also ends with those lone bleep bleep keyboards

 a super haunting, instantly memorable sweet soul number from 1967 with dynamic volume sweeps that further set it apart as a unique and special song
