Breezy Brazilian grooves, but recorded in early 80s Germany – a wonderful hybrid of influences that makes for a really special little album! Instrumentation is mostly acoustic, but moves along in a really fluid way that seems informed by Brazilian fusion – never too choppy, but always with a great sense of pulse between the acoustic guitar, bass, and percussion – as well as bits of flute and keyboards as well! The group features wonderful lead vocals from Isabella Celentano – who has a style that's not unlike Monica Linges, another German singer who worked in a similar space at the time. Overall, the album's got the same mix of jazz and Brazilian rhythms you'd find in some of the best work of the Glucklich generation – and titles include "Vai Brasil", "Acapulco Gold", "Samba De Um Dia", "Meu Amigo", "Cantar Feliz", "Diminished Samba", and "Agua Do Mar".
