Description
For sale is an original near mint pressing of a 45-rpm double-vinyl audiophile pressing of the 1981 album Friday Night in San Francisco by Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco De Lucia. It was issued by ORG, mastered by Bernie Grundman, and pressed at RTI. The catalog number ORG 125. The back cover bears the stamp "No. 03782."
I grade conservatively on a NM, VG+, VG, VG-, G scale. I don't use EX. For each record in my collection I sell, I clean it on my VPI recording cleaning machine before I put it up on eBay.
The records themselves are near mint (NM). I received them new as a gift in 2015, and I've played them three times, I think. I played them recently on my Dual 1229 turntable with Shure m97xE cartridge and stylus, and they sound like new.
I have the original outer plastic sleeve with the ORG sticker on it. The cover itself has only the slightest bumps on the corners of the spine (see photo), which were there when I opened it. I'll grade it as VG+.
