It is with great pride and honor that I present to historical organ collectors and enthusiasts world wide, Gems from one of the most exceptional Organ Sound Recording Archives that I have been privileged to encounter.
The Archive based in the San Francisco Bay Area has sadly become divided up, sold off at auction to parties who are clueless and what remains is at great risk of further loss.
I have interceded and am presenting gems from what was likely once a 5,000 item 78rpm Organ/Organ&Liturgical Choral Music Sound Archive documenting the recorded sound history of the organ from 1904-1950 from the great European cathedrals, organists and choirs impacted and or destroyed during WWII ...to great Wurlitzer Theater organs also lost to urban renewal and WWII destruction
