Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by Eurasian ex-pat group the Orient Express, released in 1969. The group's three members hailed from Iran, France, and Belgium. They formed in Europe, then came to the U.S., ultimately settling and recording their LP in Los Angeles. The album features high energy, mostly instrumental music that is often categorized as folk-rock, though Andalusian pop or the oud-driven songs of L.A. group the Kaleidoscope are more accurate comparisons. The jacket has some ring wear and staining on the back cover; mostly light corner, spine, and seam wear; and a little rippling in the front cover slick from a removed sticker (EX). “D.J./NOT FOR SALE” is stamped on the back cover. The disc has some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise (EX).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
