This listing is for the 1968 Soul Records Stereo release of The Monitors album titled: Greetings! We're The Monitors, Soul Records number SS714. This was NOT a big seller AT THE TIME as this Motown group really wasn't promoted too well so it didn't take off with the public but this LP contains some pretty solid Motown tracks. The Cover is in Mint- Condition and is still in the Original Shrink Wrap with the Price Sticker from S. Klein Department Store on the front of the shrink. It should be noted that there is a small Saw Mark (which indicated the distributor sent it to the department store cut-out/bargain bins). The record itself is in nice condition and is not graded too high as there is some transfer spotting on the surface of the vinyl from the old thin inner paper sleeve it was housed in for the last 50+ years. There is a bit more spotting on Side 2 than Side 1 and I graded it accordingly so Side 1 is a Clean VG+ to almost VG++, Side 2 is a Nice VG+. If not for the spotting from the paper this would be graded higher. It should also be noted that on the label on both sides there is a small letter "M" printed on the left side.
