Original 1971 first pressing  PRIVATE PRESS heavy underground psych album = the mighty MOUZAKIS  and their "MAGIC TUBE" LP

Keyboardist/bass player Fred Dawson and drummer Eddie Stevenson trace their musical partnership at least back to the mid-1960s when they recorded no less than SEVEN obscure 45s as members of The Fabulous Pharaohs. By 1968 The Pharaohs were history leaving Dawson and Stevenson to form the mighty Mouzakis. With an ever-changing list of guitarists, the band became fairly popular on the Delaware and Maryland hardrock club scenes. MAGIC TUBE is very much the rough and ready hard garage psych album, features almost completely material from the collective pen of Dawson and Stevenson

Mostly fast and heavy power-trio hard rock, with crude/raw production, these cats definitely know how to play and hard rock fans should be able to appreciate this, rawness and all, as it is very good, and highly consistent.
