Rare and unusual metal and hard rock music!! DUST - HARD ATTACK 1972 USA - Kama Sutra - KSBS 2059PROMO DUST - HARD ATTACK 1972 in heavy-thick textured gatefold....it's the second powerhouse ripper by the mighty DUST...by the time you get to 'SUICIDE' you're on the floor!
The 'other' of their two great rock-albums. This one has the heaviest and hardest tracks, but also the softest mixed in to give a dynamic varied style that works well...This sometimes forgotten New York power trio needs to be rediscovered by any fan of post-psychedelia, hard rock and/or 'Downer Rock.' Indeed, they namecheck Satan and demons and the song called 'Suicide'. If you dig Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Uriah Heep, Pentagram(US) or any of the doom bands of yesteryear, you'll be pleasantly surprised by this. In addition to bringing the doom, they were one of the few hard rock bands that didn't suck at ballads. It should be noted that Marc Bell (aka Marky Ramone) was Dust's drummer prior to joining The Ramones, but this band is a different bag of hard sludge boulders.
Hard Attack by Dust is an improvement over the excellent performance of the self-titled debut from the year before. Vocalist/guitarist/producer Richie Wise do just what the title suggests, bringing a harder attack to songs like "Pull Away/So Many Times" and "Ivory," the latter an instrumental with emphasis on guitar riffs and cymbal work. It's an all-out assault from the trio and overall very interesting.

VINYL description.. EX+/M- VERY nice copy - PROMO on label COVER description / NOTES : EX+/EX++ cover has no ring wear,. few dinged corners and show slight wear on cover edge of spine. hole in cover (see pic) See grading scale below.
I strictly grade my records, I examine them under a bright light so that no one will be disappointed.
Please ask all ???'s before bidding.
GRADING SCALE
Mint (M): The record , cover and all inserts are in absolutely perfect condition. If there is even one flaw, such as the cover photo being crooked, the record is M- or Near Mint at best. We do not use this grade, even for sealed/new records.
Mint - (M-): The highest grade we use, as we believe there are no such things as “Mint” records. Full vinyl gloss. Label not faded. No signs of wear on disc or cover.
Excellent ++ (EX++): Not quite M-, may have literally one or two very minor flaws; ONE light paper scuff; small writing on label and/or cover; dinged corner; etc.
Excellent + (EX+): Slightly better than EX. Has a few very minor flaws.
Excellent (EX): Better than average. Has a few minor flaws, very minor label wear. Very little or no lessening of sound quality. The cover may have slight wear or creasing.
Excellent - (EX-): A bit better than average. Light scuffing, a few very light scratches (“needle scuffs”); little deterioration in sound. The cover may have a small seam split. Ring wear and/or seam wear may be more prominent
Very Good ++ (VG++): Not quite EX-; slight scuffing and possibly some graying in the grooves. No major deterioration in sound quality.
Very Good + (VG+): Only slightly better than average condition; the record has obviously been played. Light scuffs and some light scratches (“needle scuffs”) are visible. Only slight deterioration/distortion in sound.
Very Good (VG): Average condition. Used but not abused. Scratches and hiss can be heard upon playback. Normal wear and tear on cover will be present in the way of split seams/spine or moderate to heavy ring wear. Generally worth 50% of Mint condition value.
Very Good - (VG-): Just slightly less than average, still a good record to play. Has numerous scratches and scuffs; a few “clicks” or “pops” and hiss will be heard upon playback. This is usually the lowest grade we use on eBay.
Good + (G+): Good plus is just slightly better than Good. Sound quality is noticeably deteriorated.
