We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

RARE and sought after 1972 original first press vinyl on small US label of an impressive power guitar flash funk heavy psych trio with moves reminding of prime Jimi....

A cool hard guitar 1972 funkpsychrock album by "close friend" of Jimi Hendrix, who if nothing else shows an impressive grasp of Jimi's best moves on this album. Although 100% derivative it still works, as the songwriting, vocals and guitar leads are fine and the sharp groove of Turner's power trio that stands up to any comparison. Fine recording with a tight in yer face sound is another reason to want to own this popular rarity. The Jimi's Experience influence means unusual traces of 1967 Swinging London such as highpitched MOD harmonies on this 1972 Velvet Turner trip. One weird track with singalong vocals sort of sticks out, though it too has soaring acid leads. Apart from the originals the LP includes a cover of Jimi's "Freedom", and should appeal to fans of Next Morning.

CONDITION: The cover is hard to find clean because of the dark cover and usually shows shelf wear. This copy is VG+(+) with a delete drill at top right, spine rub, and general light ring wear, not too bad. Otherwise a keeper copy especially with the CLEAN vinyl:
