Direct from the estate of the sound engineer for this album, Peter Bartok. You'll see his signature "PB" in the deadwax that I grabbed a picture of. Peter is not credited anywhere on the back cover that I noticed, and nowhere on the Discogs page does it mention him. Peter was known for his skills in restoring music from 78rpm records. He worked primarily for Folkways, but I know of at least a few albums he did for Piedmont and other labels that compiled older recordings. The cover has some minor issues, but the vinyl is magnificent!

Vinyl is NM! Fantastic condition with only a few loose flecks of paper particles. I can't see any marks worth mentioning. No paper scuffs, hairlines, etc. It looks like something from my modern personal collection. It definitely doesn't look 60 years old!

Cover is on the low end of VG+. Solid on all edges. No splits, drills, or writing. It unfortunately suffered a corner hit on the bottom left. Best seen in picture # 6 and the last two pictures. There is some light creasing about1" above that on the spine, but the corner bump is the main detractor.

Original/1st blue label release. Cover has the original rectangular logo rather than the 'winged' crest seen on the black-label release.
