Original UK 1st WITHDRAWN pressing
THE BEATLES "Revolver" (Parlophone PMC 7009) original 1966 UK 1st press MONO (yellow/black label)
Genuine 1966 first pressing of "Revolver" featuring the alternate, extended Take 11 of "Tomorrow Never Knows" issued in error and quickly withdrawn from sale, only on the original XEX 606-1 matrix on side 2. Vinyl is in great condition - see description.
MATRIX: XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-1 (mother stampers "3 L" and "3 OH")
Labels and sleeve have the "DR. ROBERT" text, flipback sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Complete with original EMITEX "Important..." tracing paper lined inner sleeve.

GRADING: visual strict VG+/VG+ (disc / cover)
DESCRIPTION: Disc has been well looked after - generally excellent. Most Beatles vinyl turns up wrecked. This has just light non-feelable surface scuffs and plays great - barely any surface noise, just very light static between tracks and on quieter passages - music is cut LOUD and overpowers most cosmetic blemishes - a great listen (one tiny mark on A7 causes a couple of light ticks). Labels are clean, no writing.
Cover generally excellent - has previous owner's initials and price paid on top flipback on reverse, and initial on front (left hand edge, 2/3 of way up - not too noticeable, almost blends into design) - possibly removable with lighter fluid, but nothing too serious. A few small and light lamination creases near spine and minor rubbing on back. Spine is intact and fully legible - barely any edge rubbing. Inner sleeve shows general wear.
Many dealers would grade as overall EX/EX, but grading as VG+/VG+ due to the minor issues described.
