Original 1983 Audiophile Pressing
This is the original 1983 Mobile Fidelity pressing of Some Girls by The Rolling Stones (cat # MFSL 1-087) and it is as perfect as they come. Mobile Fidelity is famous for using the original master studio tape and transferring it at 1/2 speed to capture every nuance of the recording. The records are specially plated and pressed in Japan by JVC with their highest quality vinyl, a proprietary blend called "supervinyl," which produces maximum clarity, an extra-quiet album and a playing lifespan 5x longer than standard mass-produced vinyl. This copy was purchased at the time of it's release, played an a few times and carefully stored away. Aside from 1 extremely minor corner flaw at the top corner of the spine (see detailed photo), this copy is 100% as close to mint as you can imagine - absolutely pristine!
