Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (cat# MFSL 1-070)
Original 1981 Audiophile Pressing
This is an original 1981 Mobile Fidelity pressing of Misfits by The Kinks (cat # MFSL 1-070) and it is as close to perfect as they come - the vinyl and cover are absolutely pristine! Mobile Fidelity is famous for using the original master studio tape and transferring it at 1/2 speed to capture every nuance of the recording. The records are specially plated and pressed in Japan by JVC with their highest quality vinyl, a proprietary blend called "supervinyl," which produces maximum clarity, an extra-quiet album and a playing lifespan 5x longer than standard mass-produced vinyl. This copy was purchased at the time of it's release, played a few times and has been safely stored away. Please have a look at the photos and good luck with your bidding!
