Description

Up for auction is this Original Vintage 1940's Superman radio show on record Album. Program No. 7/8.  Sound Studio's of New York.  Transcription Headquarters.  This disc is Lateral Cut.  Superman voiced by the famous Bud Collyer. This record is in EXCELLENT condition and has been well taken care of by one of the leading Superman Collectors in the world.  This 16" record is the Adventures of Superman which was a long running radio serial that originally aired from 1940 to 1951, adapted from the DC Comics Character.  This serial came to radio as a syndicated show on New York City's WOR on Feb. 12, 1940 on Mutual.  It was broadcast from August 31, 1942 to February 4, 1949, as a 15-minute serial, running three or, usually, five times a week.
