This is the ORIGINAL 1st Press 1958 Capital T-970 LP "GENE VINCENT ROCKS and the BLUE CAPS ROLL" by Gene Vincent & the Blue Caps. This is the Classic Vincent Rocker and Ballad LP.

RECORD GRADE: VG. Clean, Well-Kept record, great Shine. Exhibits some very light surface scuffs and one 1/8" scratch that causes a 'tick' for about 20 seconds on the latter part of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. Not overpowering but definitly noticeable. It's really not that severe but it does effect the sound quality in that passage. The rest of the tracks play great,  really a quality sound recording. Matrix Stamped: T1 970 N1,  T1 970 N2.

COVER GRADE: VG. Classic Rock Cover, vibrant colors, some wear(see small white dot on Gene's face) & perimeter aging, light corner wear, 6" upper seam split, light soiling.(see pictures)

 

This is a great Classic roots of Rock Record. If you can live with the above mentioned scratch you'll have great listening enjoyment with all the other tracks. The low 'Buy It Now' price reflects this flaw. I think it's a great buy for someone. Please bid with confidence, your satisfaction is guaranteed(please review my Feedback).
