Description
This is the original 45rpm Sun Record Co release of "Lovin' Up A Storm" / "Big Blon' Baby" by Jerry Lee Lewis in 1958. Catalogue number Sun 317.
It comes with an original Sun Record sleeve, is in very good condition and plays perfectly with that distinctive Sun sound. The labels are clean, and only one vinyl scuff on "Big Blon' Baby" which definitely does NOT affect play or sound. The trail off (dead wax area) etchings are 45-U-346 and 45-U-347.
Complete with Sun sleeve and a polythene outer cover to keep in this condition.
Major Sun Record Co. artists are synonymous with the birth of rock and roll - (not least Elvis Presley) - here is an opportunity to acquire an original slice of seminal rockabilly musical history and buy here in the UK, without importing from the States and incurring VAT and customs excise duty and handling fees, although I will post worldwide.
It was produced in 78rpm format also, as was usual for the time, during the crossover period in the USA. Here is the "safer for delivery" 45rpm, original, USA version released at the same time in 1958.
