THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF: One original genuine 1963 pressing of Paul Revere and the Raiders debut LP on the tiny Sande Records label [LP S-1001]. Recorded and sold during their Portland Oregon days before signing with Columbia Records. Limited quantity pressed back then and the album has been ultra-rare ever since. Briefly reissued in the 1980s with a flimsy cover and thin vinyl disc -- this unit is absolutely guaranteed to be a 1963 original: super-thick cover and heavy vinyl. I have safely stored this spare copy in a mylar sleeve in my dark & dry, non-smoking, music room for 25+ years. You will not find a better copy -- I know, because I have been chasing Sande discs for 30+ years and having seen about 5 copies of this LP, they are almost always whipped.
CONDITION:
Cover = MINT- beautiful, with vibrant unfaded colors, no seam wear -- but original owners name penned on back as seen.
Vinyl = Super glossy (has this been played more than a couple times?!?) wax. Pristine labels. Let's call it VG++++
