Description
Up for auction is an original very first pressing vinyl copy of the MISFITS' debut album 'WALK AMONG US' released by Ruby Records (cat. no. JRR 804) in 1982. This is the real thing, the very first pressing with the pink background front cover and the pink MISFITS logo. The PLAN9 logo also appears on the back cover. The printed inner sleeve has song lyrics on one side and a photo collage on the other.
The heavy-stock RECORD COVER is in outstanding condition, i.e. there's NO creasing, NO deletion holes or saw-marks of any kind, NO splits to any seams, NO ring-wear or any unwanted writing, etc.! (please have a look at the images!). The COVER easily grades as EXC++!
The printed art INNER SLEEVE is in EXC++ condition with a 1 inch seam split at the bottom.
Both sides of the VINYL are in EXC++ condition – not a single mark to report of!
Both LABELS are just perfect, not a single spider-mark around the spindle-hole either side! Just perrrfect!!!! Both LABELS easily grade as NEAR MINT!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff cardboard record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection during transport! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! My records are also from a smoke- and pet-free home.
GRADING GUIDE:
MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
