This is an EXCELLENT copy of this desirable BLUE NOTE album, KENNY DORHAM: "UNA MAS", BLUE NOTE # 4127, by Hard Bop Trumpet Legend, Kenny Dorham. This LP dates from the early to mid 1960s, and features Joe Henderson, sax, as well as Pianist Herbie Hancock, Bassist Butch Warren, and Drummer Tony Williams. This is quintessential early 60s Blue Note Hard Bop at its best. The performances are legendary, and the Blue Note sound is simply stunning.

This LP was released in the early to mid 60s.  It features the well known Blue and White label, with its slightly indented inner seam, this is not considered "deep groove" however, in 30 years as a collector, I personally have never seen this LP in Deep Groove, and its unlikely it was ever issued that way. It features the NEW YORK USA label, yet the jacket address is : 43 West 61st street, New York 23. This LP is virtually mint, truthfully, although Im conservatively rating it VG++/Excellent. The Laminated Jacket is in VG/ VG+ condition, with solid spine and seams intact. There is a slight horizontal pressing "bubble" in the lamination on the front, which is noticeable, but not deleterious to the beauty of the Francis Wolff photo, or the graphics, which are sharp and clear. The labels are clean, with no spindle marks. The LP itself is medium thick vinyl associated with these early-mid 60s NEW YORK pressings, and the sound is still that amazing, uniquely brilliant Rudy Van Gelder sound!

I am a Jazz Pianist and Recording Artist, and have been collecting Rare Jazz LPs for many years. This is one from my personal collection. I assure you, all the LPs I will be offering here have been meticulously taken care of, and only played rarely, on a Sota Sapphire Turntable, with a Grado Reference Cartridge. They have been kept inside a temperature controlled room in my home, in plastic dust jackets. In other words, you can bid in confidence, knowing these LPs come from someone who has loved them and babied them. I reluctantly am beginning to sell some of my LPs, and hope they go to someone who will love them as I have.

All LPs will be carefully packed in proper LP boxes, well protected,and sent USPS Media Rate, unless specifically needed sooner. We can send priority mail if desired. Shipping costs are always based on your location. I do not add "handling"fees, costs will be exactly as I am charged by the shipper of choice.
