Description

Ok, So in 1971 I went to college with my short hair, goofy teeth and whatever attitude.  Here I met my hero- Barry.  Barry was a cool dude, long hair, dressed in black, listed to albums the name of which I could not even understand- who was Frank Zappa and what were the mothers of invention.  You get the idea.  One week Barry disappeared from college and skipped lectures.  In my old school you would be canned for this but not in this grown up education system.  Barry came back, wild eyes, smelling vaguely rancid and go "yeah" a lot.  He had been to the first Glastonbury.  It was so cooool Barry couldn't remember a thing.  I now know why!

So a few weeks later I was in one of the Birmingham record stores in Oasis (ITS STILL THERE- AMAZING...oh  that's Amazing MAN !!) and brought a sealed, in a painted plastic bag a copy of  The Glastonbury Album.  I played it a few times and then for some reason it got put to the back of the collection where over the years of moves, children growing up, more moves etc. it has stayed in a very secure case.  It looks pristine and has all of the paperwork to unblemished standard.  The images are all correct.
There are allegedly only 5,000 issued.  These came in three blocks.  The first block (1000) has green labels, white writing and are numbered in the centre, the second block released a few weeks later are the same but do not have a number and the third block of (I am told) 2,000 have yellow labels.  This has a green label and white writing so is the issue 2,000 - 3999.  Please see the pics.
Be aware that someone tried to do a further release through Italy a few years ago and these are rubbish copies.  I have learnt that the centre is miss printed and the books are incomplete.  Allegedly there was an issue done in the US which included another version of the book saying what the money was being spent on.  The bottom line is that this one is 100 % genuine.  The tapes are still held in a safe. All other copies are fake.
All centres have the wording REV 1,2,3 and A through to F Record REV1 A bares inscription BOBIL  REV1B bares no inscription Record REV2 C & REV2 D  have no extra inscriptions Record REV2 E & REV2 F  have no extra inscriptions   The weight is 160 gms each record. I do have this for sale elsewhere so first come first served.
Own a part of Rock History, the value of which will only go up!
Not for sale to the EU or abroad through here.  First come first served, no tyre kickers,
