ORIGINAL Howlin' Wolf EVIL LP-Chess Records CH-1540-RARE Delta Blues Record.
Condition is Used. Please see posted photos.
I am the sole and original owner of this record and recall playing it once 45+ years ago. It has been stored in my collection since. I have inspected the record and I see no scratches on the vinyl, no warping, and no sign of wear--consistent with it being played once. I would grade the record as Near Mint.
The album sleeve has a couple of imperfections. First, to the right of the word "Wolf" on the front, there is a ¼" straight notch. Second, there is a white wear mark on the right front side about half-way down measuring 1 ¼" x ¼". There is very minimal wear-white rubs-on the four corners, and some faint, almost imperceptible record impression marks on the front and back of the sleeve. There is no writing or other marks on the album sleeve.
The spine, however is quite strong and intact--no marks, no wear, or other imperfections.
The inner paper sleeve for the record has no tears, rips or marks. However, the paper has discolored with age from white to sepia.
