Tarantule should delight any fan of French traditional folk.
This quartet offers soft music, warm and poetic, like their compatriots Malicorne.
The musicians use a lo of traditional folk instruments : psaltérion, mandole, mandoloncelle, courteau, cornet à piston, concertina, guitare portugaise, vielle à roue, violin, flute and dulcimer.
So a Lp that for European folk fan, like Malicorne at the first albums of Amazing Blondel and Gryphon.
Three members of Tarantule give birth shortly after to Taraf band specializing in Balkan music. The fourth will go to found the Breton band Ti-jaz.
