THIS IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK ISSUE OF PETER BELLAMY’S “OAK, ASH AND THORN” LP ON THE ARGO LABEL. THIS WAS PETER’S FIRST LP OF HIS OWN ARRANGEMENTS OF THE POETRY OF RUDYARD KIPLING AND IS HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is ZFB 11 on the UK ARGO label and is in Stereo.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated cover is in ALMOST MINT condition! It has NO wear to the spine, NO wear to the corners and NO rubbing to the front or back cover. There is ONLY THE TINIEST HINT of edgewear to the open edges. The front cover has VERY LIGHT ringwear on the right hand side (see picture) but this has not rubbed away any of the laminate on the front cover. There are two vertical thumb creases to the front cover – a 2cm crease 3cm from the right (open) edge and a 3cm thumb crease 8cm from the right edge (on the pixie/fairy). There are absolutely NO blemishes at all to the back cover apart from a VERY LIGHT 1cm crease 6cm from the top right hand (spine side) corner. The cover is firm and strong and retains ALL of its original glossy just-pressed look.

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
