As you can see, this is the famous Beatles butcher album. Im not that great at describing items, but as you can see from the pictures I have posted, you will have to be the judge of what you are looking at. The cover is obviously 47 years old and has some wear and tear from being handled but in decent condition for what it is by looking at other butcher covers! There is a small tear at the top right corner of the album and it looks like someone used scotch tape to "fix" the binding along the edge back in the day so the album wouldn't slip out.
UPDATE:
I have brought this to my local record shop to out if this is a "1st state" or a "3rd state".
I was told that this is a "3rd state butcher" because of some glue residue of the front, because the original owner peeled off the "trunk cover". They said that it was in pretty decent condition and they sell very, very well to collectors. They showed me other Butcher Albums and prices of what they sell for!! Not many of these around in good condition. Most he said were ripped to shreds because people try to peal them and ruin them. Im listing this with a "buy it now" or make an offer!!!
