Collection of 6 original 1960s LPs. . Overall grade is around G/G. Some are a little better, some a little worse. Vinyls are clean with a decent sheen and most have hairlines and surface lines. Covers have moderate wear. NO WRITING or stickers on sleeves or labels unless stated. They are in below average condition, pretty much what you would expect to find in a UK 60s beat fans collection. Ive not cleaned these in my recod cleaning machine so you may get a bit more out of them with a decent clean. All sit flat on the turntable and play without excess surface noise- apart frm autumn 66 which has some distorton). They do have ticks and some will skip. All early or 1st UK press unless stated. VINYL GRADED FIRST - HOLLIES-STAY WITH THE HOLLIES- YELLOW/BLACK PARLOPHONE- F/G. TWIST AND SHOUT WITH BRIAN POOLE AND THE TREMELOES- RED DECCA UNBOXED GROOVED- VG/F (chip out of cover and patches were laminate has come off, tippex to rear of sleeve) ITS THE SEARCHERS- PYE MONO- VG/G (Discoloration to rear) THS IS THE IVY LEAGUE- PICCADILLY- G/VG (. ALAN PRICE - A PRICE ON HIS HEAD- RED DECCA UNBOXED GROOVED- VG/G (Sticker removal mark to front cover). Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
