ORNETTE COLEMAN “The Empty Foxhole” RVG, Blue Note BLP 4246 Mono Vinyl

This is the “VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of ORNETTE COLEMAN’s “The Empty Foxhole” on the "New York / Liberty" labels of Blue Note BLP 4246. Musicians include Ornette Coleman, Charlie Haden, Denardo Coleman.

VINYL plays with very light surface noise with infrequent pops and ticks. Plays very well overall. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and strong, clear, clean and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very good Gloss. A few non-feelable hairline marks. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The “New York / Liberty” labels are clean with spindle marks. COVER is worn, ring-wear evident, with long crease along top, top and bottoms seams taped end to end. 2” tape squares on top and bottom right corners. Spine is solid, but shows wear. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 10023" back jacket shows wear, tape. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
