Description

London Records stereo four disc boxed set OSA 1402, black wideband FFSS label, made in England.  Stampers are 5E 4F 4F 3E 3F 2K 4F 4K. 

Mozart, The Marriage of Figaro, a legendary performance with a cast that includes Cesare Siepi, Hilde Gueden, Lisa Della Casa and Alfred Poell.  Erich Kleiber conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Chorus.  Kleiber's only stereo recording.  See pics for complete cast and program details.

A nice copy of this reference recording.  Other than the labels, no difference between this and the extraordinarily rare and expensive Decca issue on SXL 2087-90.

Discs all NM.  Box VG+, one split corner.  Libretto included.
