Description

This is a PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED EARLY 1960s MONO PRESSING OF THE 1956 VERVE RECORDS LP titled 'The Oscar Peterson Trio At The Stratford Shakespearian Festival' from The Oscar Peterson Trio.  It is Verve Records U.S. catalog number MG V 8024 on cover, V 8024 on record labels, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, black early 1960s Verve Records labels. 
AS SHOWN IN MY ACCOMPANYING IMAGE THE BACK COVER OF THIS LP HAS BEEN PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED IN BLACK BALLPOINT BY OSCAR PETERSON AND BASSIST RAY BROWN, AND IN BLACK MARKER BY GUITARIST HERB ELLIS.  I OBTAINED THIS RECORD AS PART OF A LARGE LOT OF USED LPs, AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF AUTHENTICATION OF THE SIGNATURES OTHER THAN THE RESULTS OF A GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH FOR THE PERSONAL AUTOGRAPHS OF ALL THREE MEMBERS, WHICH TURNED UP A LARGE NUMBER OF EACH THAT CLOSELY RESEMBLE THE SIGNATURES ON THIS LP COVER.  I WOULD INVITE THE BUYER OF THIS LP TO HAVE THE SIGNATURES AUTHENTICATED BY A PROFESSIONAL AUTHENTICATION SERVICE AT HIS EXPENSE - IF THE SIGNATURES TURN OUT TO NOT BE AUTHENTIC I WILL REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS LP TO THE BUYER ALONG WITH WHATEVER AMOUNT HE HAS PAID THE AUTHENTICATION SERVICE TO OBTAIN THEIR PROFESSIONAL OPINION UPON RECEIPT OF THE LP BACK HERE ALONG WITH A COPY OF THE DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED BY THE AUTHENTICATION SERVICE STATING THAT THE SIGNATURES ARE NOT AUTHENTIC.
