OSCAR SHUMSKY Ysaye Violin Sonatas NIMBUS NR/MINT

Original 1983 UK pressed Nimbus Records stereo LP, 2137.
A well preserved issue.
Vinyl in near mint condition. Both labels are clean and bright with no rubbing or loss of lustre. Hard to detect any spider trail marks at all around the centre spindle areas. The playing surfaces are visually very clean, and still have a rich and shiny black lustre. No marks are visible bar one or two thumbing imprints which have attracted a little dustiness. Generally appears a very lightly played and carefully handled LP.
Playback is clean and bright throughout. The audio is bright and clear, and there is no distortion or background noise. I heard just a very few of the softest of isolated static dust clicks throughout the entire duration of playback, and this without making any attempt to clean any surface dusting from the surfaces.
Inner sleeve in excellent condition.
External sleeve VG. Some surface loss from sticker removal to top left corner of front panel, and some light overall handling and storage marking and creasing. Approx. two inch hairline score mark to rear near centre of entry side, although this is not obtrusive. Tips a little rubbed, although edges and spine are in good condiion and not worn or frayed. No seam splits.
A Note On Grading:Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.
Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl.
