The Movie: The Kids Are Alright (1979)
Directed by Jeff Stein, this film is widely considered one of the greatest rock documentaries ever made. Unlike traditional documentaries, it eschews a linear narrative in favor of a chaotic, high-energy collage of live performances, interviews, and television appearances. It was intended as a tribute to the band's history and served as a farewell to drummer Keith Moon, who passed away shortly before the film's completion.
