GINO PAOLI: Idolo Nero / Orchestra: Star Bar // Regina / Ricordi (RCA ITALIANA PMD 31-318 - ITALIA 1963)
E' un disco rarissimo, ricercato sia dai collezionisti di colonne sonore che dai collezionisti di Gino Paoli.
La copertina è leggermente ingiallita ed ha un po' di ringwear, la plastica che la riveste "tira" un po' e fa qualche grinza, tutto sommato VG. Il disco è buono nei tre strumentali (pochi fruscii che non disturbano molto), ma nella canzone di Paoli i fruscii si sentono molto di più: G per la canzone di Paoli, VG per le altre 3.
Grading: io non uso mai la gradazione Mint, e uso EX soltanto per le copertine, quando sono veramente senza difetti. Altrimenti il massimo della mia gradazione è VG++, che praticamente corrisponde al Mint di molti venditori…

Very rare record, sought after by soundtrack collectors as well as collectors of italian singer Gino Paoli. The sleeve is VG, some modest ringwear, a bit of yellowing, the plastic film that covers it makes some creases.
The 3 instrumantals play good, with some noise, but the Paoli song has more crackles, a bit annoying... G for the Gino Paoli song, VG for the other 3.
I never use the Mint grading for records, and EX is only for really immaculate sleeves. Otherwise my best grading is VG++, which anyway is not unlike many other sellers’ Mint…

For Example, 1 single between 2 strong cardboards + bubble shipping bag weighs between 100 and 250 grams. To stay under 100 grams and pay less I should take away the cardboard. Two layers of bubble plastic should be enough, unless you have a postman who hates you ! If you prefer that way let me know…
