On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Otis Redding called 'At The Whiskey A Go-Go' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Red/Maroon (PLUM) Atlantic label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IT IS ONE OF OTIS REDDINGS RAREST LPS EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO - AND IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! BACK IN 1968 - VIRTUALLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WAS 1ST PRESSED IN COMMON STEREO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!! THIS WAS ONE OF THE LAST LPS ON THE ATLANTIC LABEL EVER TO BE AVAILABLE IN MEGA RARE MONO - BEFORE ATLANTIC ENDED MONO PRODUCTION FOREVER!!!! AS A RESULT FINDING AN ULTRA RARE MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH MEGA THICK QUALITY VINYL (LATER ONES ARE MUCH THINNER!), AND HAS 'TEXTURED' LABELS (LATER ONES ARE SMOOTH)!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Atlantic 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! The Cat. No is 587 148 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Atlantic label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.
