OTIS REDDING
'THE SOUL ALBUM'
VERY RARE ORIGINAL UK 1966 PLUM ATLANTIC STEREO FIRST PRESSING LP
EXCELLENT CONDITION
Label / Catalogue No: ATLANTIC / 588011
Matrix No's: A1/B1
This is an very rare 1966 UK first pressing of the classic Otis Redding LP 'The Soul Album'. In 1966 mono was still the dominant format for LP's in the UK, making original stereo pressings, such as this, very hard to find today, especially in this excellent condition. 'The Soul Album' is one of Otis Redding's finest albums and the follow up to his classic 'Otis Blue'.
CONDITION
RECORD = EXCELLENT
The record is in excellent condition, showing very few signs of use. There are very few spindle trails around the centre hole and no scratches or wear. It plays to a very high standard throughout, with no groovewear, clicks, crackle or distortion. This is very well looked after record, which would be very difficult to find in better condition.
COVER = EXCELLENT
The cover is also in superb excellent condition. There are no faults such as tears, writing or stains. The laminated front sleeve looks great, with only a couple of tiny laminate creases to mention. The unlaminated back sleeve is very clean, with only very slight, barely noticeable, discolouration. The spine shows very slight wear, though all text is readable. A highly presentable sleeve which would also be difficult to find in better condition after 46 years.
