What a mega rare OTIS RUSH blues 78 recorded in Chicago in1956. On the "hard to find" COBRA Record label! This label from Chicago closed just a few years after opening. This is the very first record Otis ever recorded for the Cobra Record Company. The record # is: 5000 and features the Willie Dixon song "I Can't Quit You Baby" is on Side A. and Side B. is: "Sit Down Baby". The record looks to be in just exceptional condition... wonderful! I would grade this at VG++ to Near Mint (visually graded). Beautiful high gloss finish is still evident! The labels are in wonderful condition, with no writing or wear. It has the original store sticker name and address which could be easily removed. I left it... it certainly adds a bit of history to the record. I have just made a major purchase of ultra rare rock, jazz & blues albums! They were from Radio Station Promotion Manager Lester "Len" Miller and are from his personal collection.
