OTIS SPANN The Bottom Of The Blues LP

New Zealand STATESIDE /BLUESWAY/EMI SSLM 10255

Terrific 1968 recordings of Otis on vocals & piano out front of the Muddy Waters Band - Muddy himself is featured on slide on a few tracks and his composition"Looks Like Twins" is a stand out. Other players are: Luther Johnson guitar, Sammy Lawhorn guitar, George "Mojo" Buford harmonica, Lawrence Wimberly bass, S.P. Leary drums and Lucille Spann lead vocal on a couple of tracks.

Tracks are: Heart Loaded With Trouble, Diving Duck, Shimmy Baby, I'm A Fool, My Man, Down To Earth, Nobody Knows, Doctor Blues.

The cover shows a little age discolouring but there are no splits, tears or writing

Record has minor surface marks which do not affect play.
