    This is a copy of the very rarely seen OTIS WAYGOOD BLUES BAND.  Released by Parlophone in 1970 but only in South Africa where the group originated but later they were appreciated worldwide for their Psych Rock Guitar Blues. This is a genuine original SOUTH AFRICAN FIRST PRESSING of OTIS WAYGOOD's first and only 12'' release from 1970.

Obviously as this LP was only released in South Africa and sold there in only small quantities it is very rarely seen - indeed very few ORIGINAL copies are to be found at all. 

Visually graded under a 100W  light source the vinyl retains a very good sheen - there are lots of visible marks, both hairlines and more significant marks too.

This results in some audible surface noise in places - particularly so on Side 1. Less surface noise on Side 2 - but Track 5 does suffer from a series of audible clicks.

Both sides have been PLAY GRADED. 

Side 1 is graded - VERY GOOD 

Side 2 is graded - VERY GOOD PLUS

The SILVER and BLACK PARLOPHONE labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS with some minor visible spindle wear.

The TEXTURED BLACK GATEFOLD card sleeve is also graded EXCELLENT MINUS - with only some minor wear other than a slight bend to the front right.

 

 

All records are shipped in new custom made strong CARDBOARD MAILERS ( not card envelopes ) with stiffeners as required.
