Description

BEETHOVEN / KLEMPERER / NEW PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA - " SYMPHONY No.7 (with RAMEAU VARIATIONS) ", HMV/EMI Records Ltd. (ASD 2537) 1969.

Very rare, first UK Stereo pressing of the collectable HMV LP.

"Dog on Postage Stamp" HMV label - see photo.

English issue and pressing.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (the original inner sleeve has also been kept and will be included with this item).

CONDITION:

VINYL =  EXCELLENT  (No scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, just the very lightest of spindle trails, etc. Visually, the vinyl of free of any marks, scuffs, etc. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before the beginning of the tracks and occasionally during the silent gaps between certain tracks. It plays strong and clean - free from interuption from distortion, clicks, pops, etc. Overall, although it is not quite mint, it's imperfections are very slight and would make a good honest copy for someone to play and enjoy it - those searching for a museum piece or a sterile CD sound item might find this particular copy just comes up a little short.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = EXCELLENT- (Generally pretty good. No serious damage - no rips, tears, big creases, defacing, ringwear, etc. Being critical, there are a couple of very faint creases in the lamination along the spine and a few grubby areas on the rear sleeve, plus a couple of other signs of light wear - see photos for further clarification)

NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.

ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!

HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
