KLEMPERER Beethoven "Choral" Philharmonia 2xLP Columbia SAX 2276, SAX 2277
Original UK double record set in laminated jackets.
For record 2276: Jacket is VG with some moisture rippling at the bottom (see photos) and a bit of ring impression around at the bottom but is still in pretty nice shape overall. Vinyl looks EX, there are a couple faint ticks in the lead-in of side 1 and one small mark on side 1 that causes a couple faint ticks, but otherwise both sides play very clean.
For record 2277: Jacket also in VG shape, fairly clean but there's overall mild wear and a small (1/2" or so) tear at the top right corner at the opening (see last photo). Vinyl looks EX to NM, very shiny with no marks, and plays nicely.
GRADING:
NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear -- a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
VG+ (very good plus) means the record has minor wear -- sleeve creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, vinyl shows cosmetic signs of handling
VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches but plays ok
VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy
G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
